TMI: I got my mammies grammed. I don’t know where this picture initiated, but it is as close to truth as it is away from fiction.

The only word I can come up with, dramatically anyway.

A whole new “twist” on the idea of a mammogram???
Hilarious WW, pop by The Cafe for mine if you’d like.

The new machines they have here, HURT!!! It didn’t used to hurt so much when I first started.

Been there, done that. Totally worth it, but her expression says it all

UPDATE: Thank you all for “feeling” my pain. Although I know some of you have never had one and this was my fourth one ever.

@ Ruprecht ~ You are the bravest of them all.

@ Saintseester ~ The tech groped me to no end today. I had to use one of those new machines, also known as a modern torture device, and it HURT more than my previous boob squashes.

I’ve been mammy gramming for several years because my dad’s sister died of breast cancer. Cancer, in general, runs like the common cold on both sides of my family.

Save the ta-ta’s. Early detection is the cure.

It’s all worth it in the end – clear mind and all that, but holy hell, it doesn’t half hurt. They should put this pic on the door of the torture chamber – at least it would raise a smile!
