Ain’t Got No Worries … I’ve Got Spring Break!

My to do lists have to do lists, but I have 9 days off to relax and to rejuvenate. Nina Simone, the High Priestess of Soul, once said, “I’m a rebel with a cause.”

My cause this week is to read a banned book or two. What a concept. I’m going to crack a spine.

And, if you don’t know Nina Simone, you ain’t got no boobies … ain’t got no class …. ain’t got no God … ain’t got no life.

Me, too. My spring break starts tonight, as well. I am going hiking for a few days, then coming home to do nuthin. I am reading.

I played this video 5x. And then it was stuck in my head all weekend. AWESOME! I was in the recording studio with Matthew’s band and I kept trying to figure out how I could work “my boobies” into the lyrics.
