Clueless, Crying, and Crunchy

Today I learned an extremely important lesson: Read the directions first. I should have the new domain open tomorrow. It turns out that WordPress is a host, and I don’t need another party involved in this fiasco I created for Boog to undo today after much begging, yelling, and crying ensued.

I am still moving from Blogger to WordPress which will be redirected to my domain name. The only thing that is important to me was having my own name. I am confident that it is time to make the switch from Blogger to WordPress. And, yes, I am excited because I know how to export all the entries and comments.

Once everything is moved over, I’ll shout it from the rooftops. Then I’ll be looking to get a custom template. I know, Boog, one thing at a time. In the meantime, I’ll be the dumbass sitting in the corner after I write the following on the mirror in the master bathroom 100 times:

I will not meddle in the affairs of dragons for I am crunchy and taste good with ketchup.

Well sure, it’s a host – but it’s also, more importantly, a blog software. A software that you can install on your own domain without the need for redirecting from a free wordpress.com account.

So you weren’t wrong, you just decided to take the option you didn’t realize you’d taken. Heh.

I hate the way my wordpress page looks. (And I even designed a cool banner and have a cool name for my blog.) I’m sticking with blogger for a while longer.

I have been thinking about busting the same move but I am a little scared. I will be watching to see how this goes for you.
