When I am sick, I am a sucker for a natural remedy, but I also know when I need antibiotics. The doctor said I have sinusitis and otitis and Wednesday and prescribed a Z pack. Yesterday was day 4 of the antibiotics with an earache worse than Wednesday when I first saw the doctor. By 7:30 pm, my balance was off; I was nauseated, and it felt like someone was jabbing a knife in and out of my right ear. I stumbled to the computer and Googled earache home remedies. Voila! You will never believe what worked. I put warm extra virgin olive oil in my ear and 15 minutes later I was at least 75% better.
“EVOO” is not only “Delish,” and “Yum-o” (my favorite Rachealisms), but it is a natural cure for the sumabitch of an earache. Like the Raytard would say: “How Good Is That?”
Now, if I could just get rid of the congestion, I would be “Good to Go.”
