After reading Sistah CJ’s entry today, I wasn’t going to go there with an end of the year meme; however, I can’t help myself, and I can’t promise there won’t be more memes in 2007. If you don’t like reading my memes, don’t.

1. What did you do in 2006 that you’d never done before?
I finally watched The Sound of Music from start to finish in one sitting and can’t get that flippin’ song out of mind head with the Kia commercials airing it too. Hence, the title of this entry.
2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Well, if you remember, I made lighthearted resolutions. In eduspeak, I “met standards.” I’m still alive. I laugh almost every day. I love so many people and creatures. I learn something new every single day. I think I’ll keep this resolutions again for 2007.

Britney Spears’ behavior since her divorce announcement makes a bad name for Southern belles everywhere. She’s a mommy now; grow up and wear some panties!

Hate is a strong word. I really don’t like the Smith sisters’ mom. Tell me baby what’s your story
Where do you come from
And where you wanna go this time
Your so lovely are you lonely
Giving up on the innocence you left behind”
From “Tell Me Baby” by Red Hot Chili Peppers

Hey! My New Years Resolutions do not have to be Your New Years Resolutions. I love your memes (why do you think I steal them all the time?) but I find the memes are a diversion… so I don’t end up writing (for me) the hard stuff. You know, the stuff that gets me nasty comments from anonymous readers who don’t like me or my theology… f*ck them very much.
Happy New Year my wonderful friend…my wish for you or your birthday….and extending into 2007 is for #28 to happen….
I love you much even though I don’t see you enough!
