I’m feeling naughty today. Remember that only one of these is a lie. Really, only one is lie.
1. I secretly flipped off three students from behind my desk today. It felt great.
2. I was threatened by a student today who declared: “If you RPC me, you don’t know what kind of damage I’ll do.” (By the way, RPC stands for Required Parent Conference. It is not a verb.)
3. One teacher sent up 9 students out of her 6th period class today who joined 16 others who were already in my office.

Wow! Are any of these lies? Hmmm…I think number one is true, because I have done this myself, not to studentss, but fellow co-workers (possibly management) and gotten a secret giggle!
I wish number two was a lie, well number three too…..Hmm…I will say number three is the lie…the teacher only sent 8 students to your office!
I agree. There were only 12 in your office because the rest wouldn’t fit and had to stand in the hall.
All Im gonna say is that Im glad ya said RPC an esplaind its meanin, cause I first thougtcha meant RPG. Ya no, Rockit Perpelld Grnade. I no sckoolsr gettin dangrous, but thatd be to much!
Number 1 was the lie until Friday. I tried it after another tough day, and it really did feel great. The best part was that as I was doing it I was smiling at the student and saying “Uh huh, I see. Thanks for sharing.”
