1o years ago … I left my first low-paying teaching job in Louisiana after two years to work as a cocktail waitress (pay was 3X better).
5 years ago … I was a newlywed of 3 months in a brand new home.
1 year ago … I was halfway through my ten-month master’s degree program.
Yesterday … Booger Bear woke up and got out of bed without my help.
Today … we are having leftover Shrimp Creole. (My dad calls leftover food “scraps.”)
Tomorrow … I have places to go and people to see.
